:) IDEAL ONE....

Being a politician is a dirty staff and a messy field to live on,but I admire and salute the former president Maria Corazon Sumulong "Cory" Cojuangco-Aquino who served our country for the past years. We owe to her our independence from the abusing hands of the Marcos and
experience democracy from then on.

Everyone knows that she was just a plain housewife of the
late Sen. Benigno S. Aquino Jr.,yet she moved out of her comfort zone and assumed the leadership left by her beloved husband after assassination. Their family at that time was in the midst of sadness and grief but she proved to everyone that she was strong and courageous to help the Filipino people in behalf of Ninoy. She rendered service for the country's development and progress.I'm amazed of the patriotism and her spirit of being a loving citizen not just for the country but also to her fellowmen. The gratitude felt among the people in the Philippines will never end even in the her last breath because of what she did for everyone.

HOWEVER....

As her term of service ended, many politicians desired to be in the position.

Royalty-Free (RF) Politician Clipart Illustration by Jiri Moucka - Stock Sample #229965Nobody knows who will run and who will be elected on the position they wanted to.But as far as the public is concern,an ideal politician is what the people need.

---- Sad to say that the good examples of former Cory Aquino were continued. Now, most of them are just fooling us. After all the killer smile and the long list of promises, all of those vanished. What they tend to be established and extended for the benefit of all were all invisible. What they have before election are spent for their campaign just to earn votes and win over their opponents.

Hence, they destroy the trust which the people had given. That is why some people are protesting and keeping on doing things to impeach undeserving politicians.

As a citizen living in a democratic country,I would prefer a politician who is for the people who has the united spirit among fellowmen. A leader who will soak himself with the inhabitants whom they will serve. With these,he/she will be able to know what to be done and how it will be done.

The heart of a politician is a necessity. We need a servant leader who will rescue the people somehow in terms of poverty with selflessness. Maybe we don't have a samaritan who will extend a hand to those who are in need but  there MUST be an ideal one that would govern the country with passion in his/her heart.A heart who is willing to help others to be improved and progressive.

Above all else, a God-fearing person is the best ideal politician and a public servant in every country neither national or local. If only a politician has Jesus Christ in his/her heart, goodness and greatness will follow not just for oneself but for the benefit of all. Impossible to be solved problems in the every nation are all possible through praying...

CHANGED ELECTION, CHANGE DECISION

How about you, what's your stand? Do you think an honest and peaceful election can still be made possible?

Election help us decide for the better of our country. Money, fame and unrealized promises are always present during event.

MONEY. The love of it is the root of all evil according to the bible. Hence, this can control people's lives one way or another. Vote buying is not absent during campaign to earn votes for them to win.
With these, politicians hypnotized many voters and abused their power. They use and sacrifice their
own money for buying votes, giving goods and others to catch the attention of the voters.

FAME. Celebrities used to run for a position in the government after the burning popularity in show business. They tend to earn votes through their fame to captured the people's attention. Well' there's nothing wrong if they will serve the public but the question is ”do they have the ability, capability and the heart to serve the people over their personal interest??” Being a politician is an offshoot for them to save their career after the acting and varieties in front of cameras.

PROMISES. These are always been forgotten whenever they are positioned in the government. Poor people living in shanties are being used for print ads and campaigns. Children and young people are never absent to promote their willingness to help them in their education. After all, promises they've made are invisible and unrealized.

These are just some of what makes our life harder and full of suffering but an eye-opener for everyone.Evil and dirty tactics are not new to us yet God won't allow dishonesty and injustice prevails.
We can't stopped people from running for a position in the government not even their evil motives. We can only change ourselves and this will be our basis for the changes that we all want and need. All we can do is to start within ourselves, then I can really say that,

YES! It is still possible.

MY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

For many years,I have been burning a piece of paper that contains my new year's resolution.
But sad to say that all of those things were not realized, yet I did my very best. 2013 is a brand new year for me and I have my new sets of resolution. First is to spend more time with God- I will never
forget to read His word and pray without ceasing. Second,I will continue being advocate in True Love Waits campaign and share God's word to others.Third, being sluggard will be eliminated in my lifestyle. I will help in household chores and use my initiative to do what needs to be done without being told. Fourth,
no more procrastination in my studies.Assignments, projects and requirements will be done ahead of time. Keeping all my things and important documents in order and be responsible of my mess is my fifth resolution.. Then,I'll think first whenever I wanted to talk and act wisely. Eighth resolution is to trust God in all situations. All of these needs prayer to be accomplished and I'll do my very best for it.

Why did you choose BPA course?

Being a public servant is not easy. One has to uphold public interest over personal interest for everyone’s sake. However, that is what I want to be someday.

From an education student, I shifted to Bachelor in Public Administration because of my goal. As I learned more about Christ, I realize that I should be like Him, to love and serve others. The greatest in His kingdom is the least of all and one way of serving the Lord is to minister others through public service.

Basically, I always dream to have my own table and chair in any government agency someday. It sounds funny in desiring for a mere table and chair furniture but what I’m trying to address is my dream to have a very good position in the government. Perhaps, I’ll be the one who can solve the major problems in our country today with God’s help and empowerment.

Hopefully, I can pursue my bachelor’s degree in public administration and even for greater achievements in the near future. I didn't regret that i chose this course because i found myself here and I learned to aim high not just for myself but for others too.
